How to Schedule Your Pre- and Post-Cruise Travel
I recently returned from an amazing trip visiting Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, France, Netherlands, and Belgium! After my trip, I did some thinking about what I did to prepare for this dream vacation and I wanted to share with you what I do to schedule my pre- and post-arrangements before a river or ocean cruise.
Alaska: A Land of Wonder
When I embarked on my first Alaska cruise, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But after spending seven unforgettable days sailing through its breathtaking landscapes, I now have a true sense of what Alaska is.
I was lucky enough to cruise aboard the Majestic Princess. This beautiful ship lived up to its name, offering excellent service, delicious food, and a serene atmosphere. Each day felt like a new adventure, made even more exciting by spontaneous announcements of nearby whale sightings. Imagine the thrill of spotting whales right from your own balcony! Sailing into Endicott Arm was a highlight, where we were greeted by towering cliffs, scattered icebergs, and the mesmerizing beauty of Dawes Glacier.
Borneo Ecotourism: Discovering the Borneo Big 5 and Sustainable Travel
I just got back from an unforgettable trip to Borneo, Malaysia, and one of the most meaningful parts was experiencing Borneo ecotourism firsthand. If you love wildlife and want to travel responsibly, Borneo is the perfect, often underrated, destination. The island is home to some incredible animals, including the Borneo Big 5: orangutans, pygmy elephants, proboscis monkeys, crocodiles, and rhinoceros hornbills. Seeing these amazing creatures in the wild and knowing my visit was contributing to preserving their habitats, made the whole experience even more special, and it’s all thanks to the efforts of Borneo ecotourism.

Cruising Alaska with Oceania Cruises
Embarking in Vancouver on Oceania Regatta was a pleasant surprise with no lines or crowds. We simply walked onboard and were escorted to our luxurious stateroom. Regatta is a stunning small ship with only 670 guests and 400 crew members. The gourmet restaurants aboard Regattta are all complimentary with open seating in the Grand Dining Room and Terrace Café and reservations offered for the Specialty Restaurants, Toscana and Polo Grill. The cuisine and service in all of the restaurants was superb. Afternoon Tea was a delight with a string quartet playing softly and a beautiful presentation of finger sandwiches, petits fours, scones & desserts. Evening entertainment is continuously changing with production shows, talented vocalists, classical and jazz music and the Monte Carlo-style Casino.
