My Canada and New England Cruise Adventure

My Canada And New England Cruise Adventure
Embarking on The Emerald Princess for a Canada New England cruise to see all the fall colors was a dream come true. It held the promise of a journey filled with historic charm and maritime beauty. The first port of call, Newport, Rhode Island, unfolded like a page from a nautical novel. The opulent mansions along the Cliff Walk echoed the grandeur of the Gilded Age, transporting me to a time of extravagance and luxury. We found a little AM Eatery called the Franklin Spa that was so quaint and delicious.

As I stepped off the cruise ship onto the quaint port of Bar Harbor, Maine, I was instantly captivated by the charm that enveloped this coastal town. The brisk sea breeze carried with it the scent of saltwater and the promise of adventure, setting the stage for a day filled with exploration and natural beauty. The narrow streets, lobster rolls, shore path stroll, breathtaking Victorian mansions, and harbor cruise to see the coastline and wildlife was all magical.

Boston, a city steeped in revolutionary history, greeted me with cobblestone streets and the echoes of Paul Revere’s ride. From the Freedom Trail to the vibrant Quincy Market, every step was a walk through time, blending the old and the new seamlessly. The North End Foodie Tour with Viator hit all our wants when it came to food in Boston. It was a fabulous part of our Canada-New England cruise and worth every penny.

Oh Canada

St. John, with its quaint streets and the iconic Reversing Falls, offered a taste of Canadian hospitality on our Canada-New England cruise. The Bay of Fundy’s powerful tides were amazing to witness, and the friendly locals created an unforgettable experience, leaving me with memories as vast as the maritime landscape.

Halifax, with its maritime museums and the haunting tales of the Titanic, provided a poignant pause in our Canada-New England cruise journey. The stark contrast of the historic sites and the natural beauty of Peggy’s Cove showcased the resilience and grace of this coastal city. I could take up residence in one of those Jellybean homes in Peggy’s Cove.

As the cruise sailed towards its grand finale in New York City, the memories of each port echoed in my mind. The captivating blend of history, culture, beautiful fall colors and natural wonders left an indelible mark on my heart. From the serene shores of Newport to the bustling streets of Manhattan, this Canada-New England Cruise was a tapestry of experiences, connecting the dots between the past and the present. As the ship approached NYC, the skyline emerged, a beacon of lights and dreams, signaling the end of a voyage filled with discovery, friendship, and a newfound appreciation for the beauty that lies within the ports of call along the northeastern coast of North America.

I feel very blessed to have traveled to this part of the world and commend a Canada-New England cruise to you.
