Mis amigos, by the time you are reading this article, I will be leading a group of 15 adventurous travelers who will fly a total of twelve thousand miles to visit some of the remotest places of South America!
Together we will explore Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, and sail along the Beagle Chanel which was made famous by Ferdinand de Magellan and Charles Darwin.
A short flight away is El Calafate, the village at the foot of the majestic Andes, and the cradle of the icefields of Patagonia. After crossing the Andes we will reach the Paine National Park, one of the wonders of the natural world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will also experience the famous Iguazu Falls, another treasured UNESCO site.
Next, we will travel west, flying several hours to land in the mysterious Easter Island amidst the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean.
If this all sounds exciting, in March of 2025 my good friend Larry Gelwix, the Getaway Guru, will lead a group with a similar schedule that will also include Cuzco and Machu Picchu. We invite you to come experience the magical word of the Inca Civilization.
In addition, Morris Murdock Escorted Tours and I have developed two incredible itineraries that will sail around the Galapagos Islands, visit the cloud forest and experience world renowned Otavalo Indian Market.
Almost at the same time I will travel with a small group of 18 travelers to Ecuador and the Galapagos Island. The difference is that my tour stays on each of the four islands we visit, while Carol Alegre (another tour director) and her group go by sail and won’t have to pack a suitcase every day.
We are also thrilled to offer a trip to explore Lima, Cuzco, Machu Picchu at an amazing price below $ 3.000.00. I will be your personal host and show the lesser known regions of the Andes.
Next November (2025), I will close the year with a tour I called “Sailing through the Andes, from Argentina to Chile. Such a title deserves some attention. We will literally cross the Andes by sailing across three pristine lakes, surrounded by majestic peaks covered with snow and glaciers.
You can check out the tour in our website as well, but the price is going to be posted next April.
I also have a few surprises for 2025: Larry’s tour from Cuzco and Machu Picchu, followed by a short flight to Santiago, Chile and end in the remote Easter Island.
I have received several requests for a cruise from Manaus, on the Amazon River, so stay tuned for more announcements.
I will return next month. Until then, I am going to enjoy this trip I’m currently on. Hasta luego!
